Bunnyrabbits

Ages 3-5 years old

Join the program for an enthusiastic introduction to cross country skiing for your youngster. Balls, hoops, short adventure trails, and small hills and much more, are all part of this program. Your young skier will learn balance, agility, and rhythm, the FUNdamentals to skiing.

***This is a parent participation class: one parent/guardian joins their child, on skis, to provide help with getting up, keeping warm, and staying engaged for the short session. Please no “strap on skis” and parent/guardians lead by example and enjoy the class with skis on too.

The Goal of the Bunny Program is to:

  • Have fun

  • Help children develop a positive self-image

  • Provide children an opportunity to make ski-friends

  • Help develop essential motor skills

  • Help develop awareness and appreciation of our natural environment

  • Help guide parents in how to best help their young skiers develop

Cold Weather Cancellation is -12C. Cancellations will be announced via email and social media the night before or by 8 am on the program day.
Usually every season there are one or two session cancelled due to cold weather. These sessions will not be made up at a later date.

Seasonal Rental Package 2023-2024 - $80.00
Because the seasonal rental program is in high demand, we are offering those who missed the registration to still rent for the season (provided your child’s size is available for their boots and skis). We require that the equipment stays at the Chalet and only gets used during their session with their coach. If this interests you, please email programcoordinator@goldennordicclub.ca to make arrangements.

Seasonal Rentals Program:
To keep cross-country skiing affordable for families, GNSC has a fleet of rental skis, boots, and poles that are available to be rented for the whole season. As your child grows during the season, you can replace boots/skis/poles with a size up. GNSC is unable to guarantee the availability of rental equipment for all participants. If you have any small skis or boots for sale, please let us know as we would like to increase our equipment fleet for the youth programs by emailing programcoordinator@goldennordicclub.ca.
