Description:
The 33 km of trails at Dawn Mountain are groomed regularly for classic and skating on an as needed basis using a Bombardier 400 Snow Cat. We groom within 24 hours of snowfalls and every weekend to provide very good to excellent conditions. Expect soft powder snow when it is snowing. Watch for natural hazards including wildlife on trails. It rarely rains as our temperatures are consistently 4 degrees lower than the temperatures reported in the town of Golden.
