Dawn Mountain Day Lodge (building project 2010)

Features will include:

• Lower Floor: storage, workshop, lockers, washrooms
• Main Floor: lounge, kitchenette, sales/rent office, lockers
• Upper Floor: living space with 2 bed rooms, lounge, kitchen
• Parking Lot and close proximity to the Stadium

Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre Trailhead

The Trailhead will be moved to the new Day Lodge area. You'll find:

• a thermometer to help you decide what kick wax to use for your skis
• a drop box for day-user fees (money is collected on a regular basis)
• a sign-in registrer box with trail maps, membership forms, and a sign-in sheet
• a bulletin board with information
• an outhouse

Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre Yurt

The yurt will be used again for 2010-2011, location TBA. You'll find:

• a wood stove (feel free to make a fire before you head off so it'll be warm after your ski)
• seating and tables (inside)
• a ski rack (outside)
• a divider to get changed behind (soon to come!)

Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre Cabin

The cabin is located on Beaver trail about 1 km from the trailhead (just go straight). You'll find:

• a wood stove (feel free to make a fire on a cold day to warm you up)
• comfortable seating and a picnic table inside (enjoy your meal!)
• a fire pit (please ensure that your fire is out before leaving)
• an outhouse

Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre Stadium

The stadium is located ajacent to the new day lodge and parking lot. You'll find:

• a number of classic tracks useful for group lessons and ski races
• a large flat area with trackset classic tracks helpful for practising your  technique

Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre Ski Playground

The ski playground is located adjacent to the stadium. You'll find:

• untracked powder
• a hill for the adventurous (usually young) skiers
• animal cut-outs mounted on trees
• hoops (set up during programming)

Golden Golf Course Trailhead

The trailhead is located at the far end of the parking area. You'll find:

• a drop box for your day user fees (not needed if you are a member)
• an information sign
• a sign-in register with trail maps, membership forms and a sign-in sheet
• the cabin

Golden Golf Course Cabin "The Owls Roost"

The cabin is located at the trailhead. You'll find:

• a wood stove (feel free to make a fire on a cold day to warm you up)
• seating and tables
• a thermometer to help you decide what kick wax to use for your skis
• an electrical outlet (useful for hot waxing your skis)
• an outhouse
• beautiful views
